The cost of full accounting services is determined individually and depends on the legal form, scale of activity (number of documents, number of employees), the complexity of business operations, and the scope of additional services (e.g., management reporting, HR and payroll). The obligation to maintain full accounting applies primarily to capital companies (LLC, joint-stock, P.S.A.), limited partnerships and limited joint-stock partnerships, as well as other entities (e.g., some foundations and associations, natural persons, civil law partnerships, general partnerships, professional partnerships) that have exceeded the statutory revenue limit (currently 2 million euros annually).
LLCs can benefit from this form by taking advantage of the reduced 9% CIT rate for companies whose annual gross revenue does not exceed 2 million euros (approx. 9.5 million PLN). Furthermore, the owners are not liable for the company’s obligations with all their private assets (after fulfilling certain duties as a management board). This is an important difference compared to a sole proprietorship (JDG). Thanks to full records (including a balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statements), you have insight into the actual condition of the company. This is key for making strategic decisions, investments, or talking with a bank/investor. Full accounting allows for the precise recognition of costs – leasing, depreciation, business travel, B2B contracts, advisory costs, advertising, or even employee development expenses. In many cases, this is an advantage over simplified accounting or a flat-rate tax. Many serious contractors (especially foreign ones) value cooperation with companies that use full accounting because they are more transparent and therefore more credible.
A financial statement is a structured presentation of the financial position and performance of an entity. The basic annual financial statement (including the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and additional information) is prepared as of the balance sheet date. For smaller companies, the financial statement is prepared once a year.
